rick tedeschi

Rick Tedeschi asked a question to the Lord about His inner presence and found himself on the journey of a lifetime. Rick is a husband to his best friend, Lynn, for over 45 years, father, and grandfather blessed with a host of grandchildren. His writing is a "work from the pew" as an author, engineer, and project manager. Rick manages his own engineering consulting firm, and finds time for camping with family and many hobbies with his grandkids, In addition to continuing to write about Jesus' indwelling presence, he is working on several fiction stories of a similar theme.

(Above information from back cover of his book)

Last fall Rick launched his second edition book, "My Father's Promise." You are encouraged to read his book and write a review

Why reviews are important

At the conclusion of Connie Hampton Conconally's reading from her new book, "Fire Music," at Columbia Center Barnes and Noble, she asked readers to write a review. She included

this written note with the books she sold.

"Dear reader,

Thanks so much for your intrest in my book. Since online marketing is now a huge part of book distribution, the spread of a book depends in large part on its visibility online. If you would like to help boot the success of my book or of others, please post a review/rating on Amazon.

"If you haven't done it before, here's how:

1. Open Amazon and search for the book's page by either title or author name.

2. On the book page, scroll way down to Customer Reviews at the bottom.

3. Click on "Write a Customer Review."

4. You may be asked to verify the email address and password you use with Amazon.

5. When the review page pops up, click on how many stars.

6. Write a few words or a statementin the headline box.

7. Add a photo or video if you want.

8. Write your comments in the review box. This can be long or short.

9. Click on "submit."

Also -- if you're on Goodreads, it's helpful to post a note there as well."

the boatshed summer arts celebration

Dave and Amy Prince are again hosting a delightful evening of music and readings each month during the summer. The STORYWRITERS of the Tri-Cities will be reading original works throughout the evenings and the music is always superb.

Please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets and your favorite snacks and beverages. If necessary, additional parking is available at Jeffeerson School, less than a block away.

Enjoy balmy summer evenings with Dave and Amy, the musicians and the authors.
